"Beyond Belief"

FOR FIVE YEARS, between November 2003 and September 2008, two members of the congregation, a man and a woman, visited
St. Mary's Church, Bagillt every Monday and Friday for the Hour of Divine Mercy at 3 o'clock in the afternoon--in addition to their normal worship on Sundays and Holy Days.

During these weekday hours of prayer God The Eternal Father, Jesus Christ and The Holy Spirit, together with Holy Mary, spoke audibly to them through the woman, to whom Our Lord had given the Gift of Prophecy, in wonderful Words of unsurpassed Beauty and Tenderness, Graciousness and Hope, which had the effect of drawing the two worshippers closer to God The Blessed Trinity, Holy Mary, the Angels and Saints, in Divine Love and Peace--a state of being so very different from the outside world in which we live.

After each Hour of Divine Mercy, a journal entry was written and a tape-recording transcribed, of what had taken place during those times of prayer, praise and worship. "Beyond Belief" contains a selection of those records.

The transcripts should be read in the same way as Our Lord's holy and majestic Words were spoken : at a slow, stately pace, interspersed with pauses.

The two worshippers, who in these texts are variously referred to as Servant and Handmaid or Holy Prophet and Knight, presently worship elsewhere. They sincerely hope that through these printed words Our Lord and the Blessed Virgin Mary will reveal Themselves to the reader in a wonderful new way. The Parish Priest referred to in the texts has now "retired".
